Yesterday I finished my first book of 2009. Last year I kept track of all the books I read, which turned out to be pretty useful, because otherwise I tend to forget what the heck I've read lately, and then people ask me for recommendations, and unless I own it, I can't recommend it. So here's the list again. (I link this from the side of my blog and update it throughout the year, so as not to spam my friends list every time I finish a book.)

The Road by Cormac McCarthy
Alcatraz vs the Shattered Lens by Brandon Sanderson

Persistence of Memory by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I read it last month and the first thing I though was "Janci would probably like this."
It did just come out last month, so the library probably won't have it yet. But it's good. Add it to your eventual reading list.
